What does it take to sell on eBay?

I have some things that I don’t need anymore, and I’d like to sell them. Does anyone have any good tips and/or tricks for making things sell faster and/or for a higher price on eBay?

Personally, there are a few things I would throw in from my experience selling on eBay. A good description is key, Spell out all details like the condition of the item, whether you accept refunds, the more details, the better. Also good photos help.

Make sure you answer any questions you receive, no matter how silly they sound. Always be polite!
