ebay people don’t leave feedback

on ebay is this a rule?

I bought something from someone on ebay it did not work rite. I emailed them and they said they would fix it but then my daughter said not to worry about it for the hassle it was fine. So I email them back tell then not to worry about it i would just keep it. Then i left then this feedback that said. Good Communication good seller. The whole reason i am buying on ebay is to get my feedback built up more cause i am new. but they never left me a feedback. I even emailed them asking them to do so and still no feedback but yet they have left feedback for other people. Don’t they have to leave me feedback? I just feel like now i got ripped off what i bought don’t work and i left good feedback and then got nothing in return.

I hate it when a transaction goes super smooth and they don’t leave me a feedback. I would have a lot more feedback if it were required! It isn’t required for them to leave a feedback. If I’m the buyer I won’t leave feedback until I get one first. Be patient. If you’re really good on ebay, you’ll accumulate positive feedback.
